The Woodpeckers brought brass balls to today's match, well backed up by Morg'n Torg himself. Turning what would've been an elf massacre, into reeling lizards. One near death, and another 6ft under made the lizards cautious about basing too many elves.
Vangsbana did hit back. Especially since they managed to remove the star player just before second half.
With only seven players on the field, and an early root from Morgan Treeman, the full lizard team had little trouble surrounding the elvish attack.
Still, only a failed gfi-to-touchdown were all that stood between a 2-0 score to the Peckers. Even though there were only four elves left on the field by the end, the skinks could not manage to catch the ball before the final handoff to turn a loss into a draw. |
