Nobody expected much from this match. Low turn-up of fans for either team. And those that came, did get to see a prolonged affair. Although, there was a moment of glory or two, most of the match was not very bloody. The Low-Tier gods decided to sit out most of the match in the KO box, claiming that the grey goblins were cheating.
Apparently Charging Chuck was suffering from food poisoning. Fairly curious for someone with their guts hanging out. He left the first drive, and had to exit the second drive as well. This time, he was prepared, and nobody spotted the sneak, when he came back to the field after a smaller riot, which prolonged the first half.
But in a fit of mad rage, he immediately charged the poor rotter carrying the ball?! There are some rumors that he might have been blackmailed. Could this be more goblin shenanigans?
In the end, the goblins somehow put all but four nurgle players in the ko box, and ended the game 2-nil.
Gerda, who killed a filthy peasant, got a well deserved MVP, for at least giving some bloody entertainment to an audience starved of carnage. |
