Too fast, not furious enough... In the game Bordellaux Broncos - Grim Rapers (Season IV, Semi Prof) both teams were equally able to penetrate the enemy lines, and they both had capabable throwers securing the ball. This caused 10 completions in a single game, a near record. However both teams struggled with hindering the 2-4 elves on the defending half, and this resulted in a lot of touch downs; tha match finally ended 4-4, and this is equal to the league record.
Being the most aggressive and also the most armored team, Grim Rapers probably should have been more aggressive. There were only 3 casualties in the entire game, but they were serious enough; 2 of them were deaths. Thankfully the medical expertise in the league have a very high standard, perhaps because our league gives loads of practise... |

Too intricate plans... The head coach made a series of very complex manouvers this game, focusing on developing the individual skills of the players of Grim Rapers. Unfortunately this lead to too little atteniton on the offence, and a bitter 1-2 defeat. |

: D The team started the league winning 2-0 (and cas 1-0) against Dunkelwald Rammers. The team saluted their viscious, evil genius; head coach Hannibal Hector.
Some of the elves were a bit disappointed with the number of fouls they committed, but that came entirely in the shadow of the glorious two nil result.

Defeat We lost our first game with the smallest possible margin, 2-3. However we won the casualty statistics 4-1, not bad for a fresh elven team, especially not when the opposition was the Khemri team Slaves of Succubus. The 7.000 viscious home fans beat two of the undeads to bits and pieces, but Enrico Cielo and Paolo Rappi managed to injure another two of the undeads.
Most of the game there was a sweltering heat so intense that even some of the Khemri mummies refused go out of their air conditioned locker rooms after first half and after the goals.
The evil self declared genius head coach of the team admits that the team has to focus a bit on the ball too, not only sending the players of the other team crowd surfing. |
