Defender of the Trophy Bob: "The AnBBL Season IV playoffs are coming fast, how do you face the fact that you'll have to protect the Trophy as last seasons champions?"
"The fact that a team coached by me still has the AnBBL Champions' Trophy is only natural" <no such player> states in a post-practice intervjue outside the Purple Bluebirds' stadium, "The Birdcage".
Star player of the team, Ivan Shureglove, is seen practicing some cunning moves, this is how he described it to the reporter after pracitce: "It's important to practice hard. I've gotta perfect my two finger catch you know. It'll make me famous. Oh, I forgot - I already am!"
"Well, Ivan Shureglove has self confidence, an important ingredients I'm looking for in all of my players." - <no such player> says when confronted by the players statement. "We'll have to nurture that when playing in this league. Especially to defend the trophy"
Bob: "So Purple Bluebirds are holding on to their trophy, and a clever strategy that is. The trophy is as all know beeing upgraded to a free team reroll this season - a treat any team should be proud to win! That's all for now, back to .. "

Phjew! Even with our starting QB Eightball McClansman out on injury, and an additional team against us in inducements, we managed to get back into the winning in New Orc Giants - Purple Bluebirds (Season IV, NC 5).
The rumors has it that Red Skullz was sneaking around in the New Orc Giants dugout, giving usefull advice to a fellow greenskin.
"Naah!" says Red Skullz when asked by a reporter seen leaving the stadium with starplayers Ripper and Varag Ghoul-Chewer.
"We grief the loss of Tarm Yetid Frapedro - his precense on the O-line will be missed and his death will be revenged! Erh, we did actually, killing Duur, but more blood is to be expected!" - Eightball McClansman, team captain. |

Shifting winds. Is our luck running out? Have the dice gods forgotten us? We could'nt stand a chanche in Wychwetyl's Troupe - Purple Bluebirds (Season IV, NC 3), and the timberlovers struck back on our op di op passing game.
Wychwetyl's Troupe has a strong team and an improving coach this season. They might even steal our trophy in the playoffs, but I doubt it.
We might need to fire a few of our players, to stay low on Team Value. Or else the opponents gets it to comfortable in their dugouts... Also someone has got to learn tackle and piling on until the next time we meet Wychwetyl's Troupe
A pointer to Wychwetyl's Troupe's next opponent is this: ALWAYS prioritize to blitz, kill or heavily cover their deep receivers! Or else you'll get burned.

Tiiiimber! So far this season we have overpowered the orks and flushed down the rats. Now it's time to chop some wood!

Season Kickstart! We had a blast defeating da Kruncha Bunch in our first game of season IV. Our agressive defence, and deep offence paid off making this a TD rich match. The 5-1 win really kickstarts our ballgame!
On the casulty front, our main goal to kill Red Skullz also partially came through, as Ruben Featherfist broke his neck cripling him slightly. The greenskins gave us a though fight though, leaving 4 of our top players at the sickbay for at least two weeks. Hence the game against Lucky 13 will be a bit more difficult than intended, but hopefull Ballistic Angels will criple them too in Ballistic Angels - Lucky 13 (Season IV, NC 1).

AnBBL Champions' Trophy What a nice piece of gold it is, the trophy! Finally it's ours - and the goal for this season has been reached.
We're also satisfied with kicking our arch rivals(Lords of the Pit) out of the playoffs in the SC Final.
We'll not do as Myklagaard Hounddogs did, but stay to defend our title as Current Champions.

Death to the Rats! We'll take no more of this!! So all our remainding funds will be used as bounty money to urge Willy Vånd and Jorge Jordrotte to the grave. They took advantage of every tiny mishap in Ratten Kameraten - Purple Bluebirds (Season III, SC round 4), as the nuffle gods and weather was against us.
We must admit that the Ratten Kameraten strategy worked out pretty well though, a great job from their new coach there.
Anyway - we've hired Reven Getod Arats to help us with our defence in the South Conference playoffs.

Friendly fight - VICTORIOUS! We won the friendly game against Elve Elegante tonight, our passing game outwitted them :) Luckily we still have some tricks to play them, even though they're better than us at handling the ball.
We wish our friends the best of luck against Lords of the Pit! May the dead never arise again!

Travelin south For season III we will travel south and join the Southern Conference Elite division to fight our arch enemy, the Lords of the Pit. Those scums just don't wanna stay dead, do they... This gives us the opportunity to play some friendly games against our old friends Elve Elegante too.
We've also heard of the evil team Duftham Skulltakers and their business. We'll take care of them as well.

Team Effort The game against Hooves of Hashut April 11th was a bit rough to many of our key players. Beeing the frontal fighters they were targeted by the hard crushing Hooves. A few of theese brave men got hit really bad, forcing them to spend the rest of the game in the dugout.
But we will never loosing a game over this. The other team member stepped up to the task, filling in for our key TD scorers to even the score.
We will miss our key players during our next match, but the rest of us will take on any challenger.
We'll have to fire Gotta Storneve Khiip though, ST 1 is not good enough to make it on our team.
